Bio
Mouthfull of Bees was formed on December 2003 and is located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Constantly striving to stretch the boundaries, Mouthfull of Bees fuses passion and creativity with a dedication to creating a solid original sound.
Quoted as being “an awesome mix of heavy guitars and soulful singing” (James Casper CFUV 101.9 FM), their music also carries a strong acoustic sound, enhanced with different instruments such as the violin and cello. Their self-titled debut album is a showcase of their dynamic range of bold expressive music.
Mouthfull of Bees actively involves themselves with networking and promoting within the indie community and has carved a niche in the local music scene.
Since their exception, Mouthfull of Bees has opened for Loverboy at the 2005 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship in Victoria, performed at several music festivals including the Stamp River Music Festival and Fruitvale Mountain Music Festival. The band has performed at a variety of local venues in Victoria as well as in Duncan, Nanaimo, Campbell River and Nelson.
Mouthfull of Bees released their self titled debut album in the summer of 2006 and are presently setting up a tour for the summer of 2007.
