Mouth Sown Shut

Mouth Sown Shut was formed in 2007 by founder and lead programmer Stichiz Massacred as a solo performance act with random musician used for improv for shows... the music was fun and tight but had an empty sound that needed to be filled. In 2010 Waldo had been playing in a band that he was literally going nowhere with. Him and Stichiz decided to merge together and drop some heavy bass lines on the music. There was still something missing. The keyboard lines were there but weren't up to par with the vision that they had on the music. Tr0ll and Stichiz began collaborating on the side to maybe juice up (atleast) the audio back track usued on stage. After a short meeting we both decided to endite him in as an official member of MSS.

Right from the get-go shows and sponsors began to poor in. We even got a local skating rink to host shows once a month to help fund the trips made far from home. They have been doing so for us since May of 2010. What started as a small thinng for all of our friends to come and atten for a good time blossomed into a 150 to 200 poeple pooring into a little town to support us and all the other acts that we invite out each month.

After the 9 months of the official line-up we have worked with close to every Michigan booking company a lot of Ohio ones and a few in Indiana. All shows have been booked free lance with solid intent on getting our name out... and it worked. we have become a local jaugernaut for our scene. We are enjoyed by the club/industrial/dnace crowd for our heavy bass and danceable music and also loved by Rock/Metal fans for our demanding vocals and destructive and heavy guitar lines.

We are not a greedy band so we try and stay open to pay rates as they come usually we just play for gas and booze... but every once in a while a diamond in the rough happens and we get the nice rockstar treatment (haha) but we try to keep a level headed outlook on everything so that our playing in bars, clubs, and venues is not limited to only the ones that are going to pay us a heavy sum.

we have relesed 3 cd's as a band and 1 solo album when it was still a solo act. All have been low budget recordings and productions... however... still sound quite well and usually sell out when we play local and/or traveling shows.
