The Mvmnt

The Mvmnt is an Atlanta based Hip Hop/Soul Movement of Music. Combining many styles like, hip-hop, soul, and rock. The Mvmnt was formed with the vision to bring the soul back to our music. Not to change the game but create a lane. We are here to give back to music what life and God has given to us. Not just a band, but a band of of people who love to make music that came from the soul. The Mvmnt grows by the moment, when we reach a new fan, add a new musician, singer, producer, or rapper we constantly expand. Similar to the civil rights movement we are here for the betterment of music. The Mvmnt has performed on many stages in and around Atlanta most notable, Apache Cafe, MJQ, The Earl, Sweet Auburn Fest, Atlanta Heritage Fest, Africa in April in Memphis , Lucky Lounge Atlanta, Winner of Center Stage's Battle of the Band Sept. '07, The Piano Bar and in Chicago at Subterranean. The Movement of Music - Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, and Rock; The Mvmnt is: 7even (lyrics), Katt Farris (vocals) Blu...( drums), Greg (bass), Malik "Mr. Dety" Masha (vocals/guitar) and Dreek (keys), Clutch (vocals) Dubb (bass), Rev Willie (guitar) and growing. The Mvmnt is hard to categorized; it is a blend of Hip-hop Soul and Rock all pulled together to create a unique style. The talents of these artist/songwriters and producers have come together to form the Movement of Music - “The Mvmnt" has taken the underground and soon the world by storm.
