Back in the mid-1990’s, during the Chicago punk rock renaissance, Scott had a band called Dickforshort. Despite the success that many other bands were having at the time, Dickforshort kept themselves away from that success, thanks to the name, lack of motivation, and error-filled recordings.

They broke up in 2001 and Scott joined The Rolemodels. Despite the track record with Dickforshort, The Rolemodels released some albums, toured extensively, opened for some popular bands, but ended abruptly in 2003.

In 2004, Jamey had a band called Laugh To Scorn; Scott joined as the singer. A couple years later, after developing a reputation for making fun of the fan base’s mothers, this band met its end also.

Fast forward to 2007. Scott and Jamey found Ray, bass player of Southern California's favorite sons, The Kissfits. Calling themselves Moving Target, the band wrote some songs, started playing some shows, and plans to release their debut EP in the summer of 2008.

The members of this three-piece punk band have a combined age near 100 years old, therefore they do not wear makeup or girls' jeans. Instead, they remember the days when they used to get beat up for being punk rockers.
