Matthew Word aka “Mo Word” is a new force to be recognized in the music industry. This native Miami artist/songwriter/producer/ is reshaping the boundaries of modern rap music. His love for music started as a child at the age of 6 when he began to play the drums and any other pot or pan he could get his hands on. As he grew older, others began to call him the “One Man Band”. He contributes much of his creativity from being raised in such a diverse place like Miami which has led him to mix many styles of beats and songs. Mo Word’s ultimate goal is to empower the people and empower the youth to make the best of every opportunity they get, to better their lives. He encourages them to press their way through adversity and not let themselves, other persons, or anything stand in the way of them achieving their goals in life. He believes that through Christ, all things are possible.
Mo Word is also an entrepreneur and multi-business owner. Serving as CEO of Mo Word Productions: it is a company that records, mixes, and sells instrumental tracks, manages artist, and theatrical plays. Mo Word and Mo Word Productions has nationally released their first highly anticipated single, “Christmas Get Down” on 9/1/2011.
