Wrapped up tall or let down to flow, no one can ever stop my growth.

Born and raised in Syracuse, NY; M.press.M has been singing her whole life. She sang in church, in school, and everywhere she ever went; in hopes of one day being "discovered". Originally trained as a soprano 1, M.press.M sang in A Capella, Jazz, Show, and Gospel choirs. She also learned to read, write, transpose, and compose music as well as play clarinet and bass clarinet. She is currently trying to teach herself guitar and electric bass guitar. Around age 19, her voice changed, dropping her range to alto and through the low end of tenor. M.Press.M views this change as a welcomed challenge and enjoys learning to play with her new instrument. Her favorite Artist to sing along with is currently Marc Anthony ( his range is incredible and his arrangements are tough to master ).

M.press.M is culturally diverse, representing Jordan, Lebanon, Ireland and Germany. Her Musical interests are equally diverse as she enjoys Reggae ( dancehall, roots & culture, lovers rock), Salsa/ Merenge/ Bachata, R&B, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock (think Seattle Sound circa 1990),Indie Rock, Old School Hip Hop ( think waaaaaay back when rap had an actual message of U-N-I-T-Y...... ), folk, and of course Angry Girl Music ( Ani, Tori, Liz Phair, etc...)

M.press.M hopes to continue meeting other artists in the NYC area, building a network of like minded individuals who can come together on wonderful musical collaborations, and bring back to life the true spirit of musicianship.

M.press.M is also a Licensed Massage Therapist, Martial Artist, Bartender, Vegetarian, and Super Cool Auntie to 6 amazing children.
