Mr. Palmer born Larnell Palmer II was raised on the Southside of Chicago, IL and began at a young age writing lyrics and performing where he gained a loyal local following. He broke into the industry as Black Majik who then evolved into Black Kadafi™. In late 2013, the successful moniker Black Kadafi was retired and Mr. Palmer was born. His first act was to incorporate his label and became CEO of Do4Self Records, LLC where he is currently developing other young artists, working both independently and collaboratively to bring the heat to the music arena. The first release of Mr. Palmer’s is “The Palmer House” bringing his club banger trademark style to a whole new level. This collection is the first in a series which will unveil his rise from industry hustler into The Self-Made CEO™ he has evolved into today. Mr. Palmer has developed a strong following performing at some of the music industry’s most acclaimed venues including Adrianna’s; Aragon Ballroom, Congress Theatre, Eagles Ballroom, Double Door, Metro, and he even performed at the legendary Apollo Theatre in New York City. Now he looks forward to bridging the gap between genres and producing tracks for a diverse group of music lovers.
