Introducing M.R., from Palm Beach County, Florida. Born Sean A. Wright, he began his hip-hop career in his junior year in high school, and has been performing professionally and producing for the past three years.
Lyrically as a Hip-Hop artist, M.R. has a very bold and direct style, which he combines with a passionate hard-hitting delivery filled with heart and soul.
While attending Full Sail and living in Orlando, FL, M.R. performed at the A.K.A. Lounge, Elements Night Club, Club Screamers, Copper Rocket, Oyster Bay, the University of Central Florida and also released a number of independent mixtapes. He has opened for Terminology at the A.K.A. Lounge, co-headlined his own show alongside Novilist at Oyster Bay and was a guest artist with The Funk Cartel for several months in 2007.
M.R. describes his music as "Deeper than drums and melodies and talking about how much better I am then whoever else...I feel like I've been blessed with a gift, and I'm trying to use it the best way I feel; to help people. My music reflects the truth. Addressing the things that as people we all go through and feel."
As Hip-Hop has been mostly dominated by a vast range of slick talkers, M.R. brings a social and personal commentary that can only be described as inspired. Currently, he is working on his upcoming project "This Is For You" slated for a summer release along with other mixtape projects.
