Bio

Mr. Adventures is a genre challenging rock act that blends crisp, soulful three-part harmonies of ‘60’s folk music with atmospheric, melodic and dynamic grooves of both the modern indie and jam scenes.

In fall 2007 Nashville natives and childhood friends Adam Brooks (lead vocals, guitar) and Callaway Alexander (lead guitar, vocals) began an acoustic duo creating folkie, soulful, harmony-driven Americana rock, billing themselves as The Scholars. The addition of Andy Fischer-Price (bass, vocals; Seattle, WA) in the early part of 2009 solidified the core trio of what is now Mr. Adventures.

Through 2009 and the early part of 2010, the trio worked with several percussionists and drummers before discovering the talents of Manitoba, Canada’s Seth Sylvester.

Their live performances, which include guest appearances by equally talented friends, have been warmly welcomed by a wide variety of audiences including the rock loving crowds of the Sunset Strip, the acoustic song-writing crowds of the Hollywood café scene, and the international crowds of the Hollywood Youth Hostel.

The future is bright for this newly formed band as they have been targeted by Hot-YR Entertainment as part of a 2011 tour of Australia with several other up and coming American acts.
