Feeling a bit camera shy

During the summer of 2005, Venus "Bishop" Stinson, was the mastermind behind a very well-known local rap group. The group had travelled, performed, and opened for rap superstars such as Young Buck, Ying Yang Twins, Scarface, etc.. But all of that came to an end in August of 2006 when Venus, now known as Bishop, decided that he was going no where and choice to rededicate his life to Christ.

In December, 2006, Bishop hooked up with friend and member of former secular rap group Aaron West Sr. and started a Holy Hip-Hop rap duo known by many as Thugs For Christ. They perfomed at local events, churches, and was also on local christian radio stations. Not only did they have radio interviews, but their music was played on air several times. The people who heard what they had to offer loved every word. The duo seemed to be on their way when tragedy struck home in June of 2007. Bishop's partner in the gospel, Aaron, was kiiled in a work related accident. And the miission that they both set out to accomplish now looked dim.

After months of going through the motions, Bishop realized that he still had work to do. He then set out to record a solo album that featured song that would not only thanking GOD for his wonderous works in our lives, but also songs that would leave you pondering the many ways that the enemy attempts to attack us. Bishop's Music and sound is not only holy and inspirational, but it is geared to attract the likes of today's youth. Not only is Bishop an up and coming recording artist, he also plays the keyboard for Metro Life Chapel in Lauderhill, FL. Bishop continues to press forward beleiving that GOD will take him to another level in his music here in the states as well as over seas. And he carries the same moto he created when he originated Thugs For Christ; "I bet you can't listen just once".
