Bio

Mr. Cali Tree,
born Everest Robinson, is an American Rapper/Entertainer. He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to California following Hurricane Katrina. His Album Class in Session was released Aug. 21, 2012 Independently under his label K.I.G Entertainment.

At a very young age Mr. Cali Tree developed a love for being on stage. He released his first CD while still in high school with Nick Ray (of Touching the Absolute). The following year he received a recording deal with Kings Entertainment. He traveled and worked with them for a few years. He credits this time as “Recording School”. He was able to study from and work with artist such as, Lil’ Kano, Curren$y, Juvenile, B.G., Young Turk, Six Shot, and many more. He also used this time to not only study the Music but to also study the business.

By 2005 Mr. Cali Tree, (Known at the time as Bigg Tazz) went on to start his own label K.I.G. Entertainment. The first song he released titled, “M.V.P” was placed onto local radio and received a massive following instantly. He was invited to perform for “Mardi Gras Under the Bridge”, for Power 104 Radio in New Orleans, for a crowd of over 70,000 people. That same year he performed as the opening act for several artist including Bobby Valentino and Case. As things began to come full circle on his dreams, the south coast was hit hard and forever changed by Hurricane Katrina. Following the cleanup effort, he relocated to California in search of sunny beaches and palm trees.

He quickly adapted to the California way of living. He played a few years of college and Semi-Pro Football. But his love of music would not be on hold for much longer. After attending a Wiz Kahlifa, Pit Bull, and Flo-Rida concert the fire was rekindled and Mr. Cali Tree was born.

The next year he put his efforts back into his music. He Quit football and released his first album as Mr. Cali Tree titled, “Class in Session”. He has quickly made his way to #1 on the local Rap Charts. His first single “Cali Tree” has earned him the honor of being named one of the top 50 independent artists of the year. The new found happiness shines through in his music. You can still get deep insight and feel the pain and struggle in his voice. Every line is filled with enough passion and energy to power a small country.
Yet enough Strength and force to destroy one...

Recently Mr. Cali Tree has been opening up for: Tone Trump, Young Jeezy, C.T.E., Coast 2 Coast magazine, Taj He Spits, J. Diggs, and E-40. Mr. Cali Tree says that there is no place he’d rather be than on stage.
