This Philly Native embodies everything that his hometown has to offer Creatively. From putting the band together on stage to occasionally composing the music behind the songs. He's a high energy performer and possesses the poise of an Artist that has graced many stages. To date he has opened for the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell, Meek Mill, Miguel, Jazmine Sullivan, The Roots and more. The best part about Chess is the way people respond to him. He has an affection for his community (particularly the youth and children with special needs) that makes it easy to see why the connection is so strong.
With his most recent body of work "Black Pill Project"... Every beat takes you some place you know you want to be.
Hitting hard with a calm edgy swag; yet with clever energy, Chess touches on Near Death Experiences, The Grind, Battling Demons, Relationships, Music Industry, Partying, Drugs, Family, in a way that really has yet to be seen. This next project "Black Pill 2" promises to be something special.
