"Finally Famous’ Own JOHN. Official Video “Rich Glorious”"

Big Sean & his Finally Famous crew are finally beginning to come out. Besides SayItAintTone that we’ve already heard on past tracks with Big Sean, now one of the original creators of Finally Famous is workin his way up too. JOHN. also known as the son of congressman John Conyers, steps up to the plate with his more mellow but still cool sound. With a bunch of work coming out very soon, check out his first real visual above. - Itsthemansion.com

"Rich Glorious: JOHN. Finally Famous"

With vivid recollections of growing up in Detroit, Michigan listening to Jazz and Classical music that his father would play, incorporated with sounds of Hip-Hop and Soul that his mother would play, it is no secret that JOHN.’s relationship with music has grown and continues to evolve into something that has no boundaries and even less limitations. Accompanied by both book smarts and street smarts, JOHN. has acquired a multifarious taste for some of the finest pieces of art, fashion, culture and an abundance of life-changing experiences; all of which are prominent in his music.

“It’s more than just being the best that has ever done it. It’s about being the best person you can possibly be while inspiring others to pursue their dreams and not settle for what someone else tells you is achievable”, says the son of Congressman John Conyers.

As a follow up from his single “Lover Boy”, he is releasing the visual for “Rich Glorious”, which he hopes gives his audience another look into the intricate world of JOHN. - Laced.com

"JOHN. Conyers III Sounds Off"

Aspiring rapper John Conyers III, the eldest son of long-standing Michigan Democrat John Conyers Jr., wants the world to know he’s done with the trifling haters who clouded his youth. And he’s spreading the good word via song and the Web.

The younger Conyers lets his critics have it on his latest track, Rich Glorious,” a laundry list of the 20-something’s career goals recited over some jazzy horns and mellow keyboard.

During the video, Conyers III flashes screengrabs of the negative publicity he’s had to soldier through, including an incident surrounding the unauthorized use of his father’s government-supplied Cadillac Escalade as well as the 2012 conviction of his mother, Monica, on bribery charges.

“Hey f— making a living, boy, I’m trying to make history/So picture me letting the news nit-pick at me,” he defiantly proclaims, a shimmering sombrero perched atop his highly held head.

His positivity spills over into social media, where Conyers III shares pics and random thoughts — ALWAYS IN ALL CAPS, SO YOU KNOW HE REALLY MEANS IT — whenever inspiration strikes.

“WHEN SOMETHING IS TAKEN AWAY, KNOW THAT IT’S FOR A REASON. SOMETHING BETTER IS ALWAYS COMING. ALWAYS. STAY READY FOR IT” he reasons on his Tumblr page.

He goes even deeper on Twitter, where he drops knowledge under the guise of @MRCONYERS:

“IM OVER REVENGE. IT’S QUIET FOR THAT, NO ENERGY FOR PEOPLE THAT DO F——. ONLY ENERGY FOR GOOD THINGS. IM TOO GREAT. FAR TOO GREAT,” he declares in what we assume must have been a moment of clarity.

“I HATE GOSSIP NEGATIVE VIBES AND ALL THAT S—. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE TALK ABOUT PEOPLE. WHAT ABOUT IDEAS, WHAT ABOUT PHILOSOPHY?” he ponders about the press.

“BEING ‘REAL’ DOESN’T WORK IN BUSINESS. BEING POLITICAL WORKS IN BUSINESS. CHESS S—,” he reveals of his life experience.

“YALL JUST WANT BREAD TO SPEND IT AND SHOW WHAT YOU GOT. IT’S QUIET FOR THAT I NEED BREAD TO HIRE ACCOUNTANTS AND LEGALLY PAY MINIMUM TAX,” he says of his personal fiscal policy.

As for his life plan, Conyers III seems determined to always stay at least one step ahead of, well, everyone.

“KEEP THEM GUESSING,” he posits.

True dat.

“It’s more than just being the best that has ever done it. It’s about being the best person you can possibly be while inspiring others to pursue their dreams and not settle for what someone else tells you is achievable”.

That’s what the Detroit bred rapper JOHN. says it’s all about.
JOHN. has been rapping since the age of 13 and being surrounded by the various melodic sounds of some of the greatest influences within the music industry, has only strengthened his ever evolving endearment and appreciation for various entities that the industry offers.

JOHN. has performed and impressed at CMJ, one of the most anticipated annual music festivals in New York City, with only one song entitled “Lover Boy” released at the time. Accompanied by both book smarts and street smarts, JOHN. has acquired a multifarious taste for the some of the finest pieces of art, fashion, culture and an abundance of life-changing experiences; all of which are prominent in his music.

As an artist who takes his time to perfect his craft, sets his own standards with aspirations to inspire and keep people guessing what is next, JOHN. is embarking on a journey that he hopes countless will join and even more will take time to interpret his vocalized imagery in whatever way they may choose.

That within itself is the beauty of it all…
