MR COTA COTA BIO
MR. COTA COTA (Coming Out To Achieve) is an independent rap artist who was born Anthony Teagues, and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. This is where he spent most of his formative years before eventually moving to Minnesota in 1993 carrying his own independent label Third World Records, LLC. The name Third World Records originated in 1990 in Kansas City, Kansas between 3rd and 1st street between the 4 original co-founders (Big Mon, Triple P, Wells, and Mr Cota Cota). Since 1993 the 4 co-founders pursued their own careers and Mr Cota Cota continued to carry and open up different entities under Third World Records, LLC such as Third World Promotions.

MR. COTA COTA resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He believes he delivers a Midwest street, commercial flow with a message that everyone can relate to. He says, "why make music that has no substance or reality, because that is what the industry needs so that we can change the game" and that's just what he strives to perfect every time he writes a song.

MR. COTA COTA has grown over the years into more than just a local recording artist. He also strives to perfect the art of entertainment with an energetic stage performance, which includes role playing, dancers, stage props and over superb stage skills that have been known to move the crowd.

He has done concerts and national tours with national recirding artists such as: Bone Thugs N Harmony, Ric Ross, Twista, Tech N9ne, 3-6 Mafia, Ana Marie, Yung Jock, Murphy Lee, Lil Flip, Chingy, Mike Jones, Spice 1, Ying Yang Twins, Rich the Factor, and Juvenile. Mr Cota Cota has done work with Radio One, Clear Channel, and internet radio stations.

MR COTA COTA also has done featured collaborations with such artists as: Young Buck, Layzie Bone, Wingo from Jagged Edge, Eve, D-Shot, Lavitti from E-40 and the Click, C-Note one of the Clover G's from Houston, Spice1, and George Clinton.

MR. COTA COTA is getting ready to release his new album "THE WORK ETHIC - 101" in 2010, with upcoming hit singles such as: "They Ain't Like Me featuring MoVell, "What It Look Like" featuring Young Buck, and "Stop Playin" featuring Wingo from Jagged Edge.

MR. COTA COTA believes that "THE WORK ETHIC - 101" is not just soul food for your ears, it's an inspiring tool for upcoming artists to understand the basic 101 rules to the music industry.
