"I'd rather listen to this than to listen to Cash Money"

His earlier album Wet was okay, but this one is the bizzomb. Shit man, the phat track on here is I Get's Paper featuring Ras Kass, I like this track so much I play it at the club. On NW Ridin featuring Cool Nutz, E-Dawg, Ray Ray, Mac Money and Maniac Lok you are treated to a phat beat produced by Cool Nutz which makes this track a winner. Oh and don't forget coz on My Knoccs Go E 40 makes a guest appearance which is a must hear. I must say once again that Mr. D.O.G. has got a unique flow and almost every track on here is straight up ghetto syrup. I liked what he did on Like That where they took Careless Whisper by George Michael and re-did it. This is a funky track. Sorta like what Mac from No Limit did on his album (don't ask me who did it first). Anotha one that had me turning up the volume in my ride was Get Off My Line (Remix) featuring Keak Da Sneak, Agerman and Bosko. I'd urge people to check out the North West scene coz they releasing some good shit there. I mean, I'd rather listen to this than listen to a Cash Money record.

Bio

Mr. D.O.G. is a northwest Icon and stands out as the successful representative chosen to bring the attention of the music industry to not only his home city of Tacoma but to the great northwest region as whole.

Born and raised in Houston, TX and until he moved to Tacoma, WA at the age of 12, D.O.G decided at a young age that he would not let the streets defeat him. As he grew older he developed a great passion for music and he began teaching himself to write lyrics and perfect a flow that he would use to bring success to himself and his home city. At a time when many people in the industry only knew the Northwest for releasing Hip Hop artists like Sir Mix A lot, D.O.G. released the hood classic “Getting Paid”. He immediately began to develop a fan base of people who could relate to his tales of street life and D.O.G. released his follow up project and first full-length album “WET.” This project featured the hit single “Playa Playa” which dominated radio airwaves in Washington for 3 months straight. Mr. D.O.G.’s fan base continued to expand with the success of the “Playa Playa” single and with the mentality of a fortune 500 C.E.O D.O.G. kept his consumer base content and released “Ghetto Politics.” The project gained amazing media attention-garnering quotes such as; “Every track is head banging. The lyrics are off the scale and the total package is something to be adored.” The preceding quote was from Eric Moreno of Illtip Magazine who also featured Mr. D.O.G. on the cover of their magazine. As he began to appear on magazine covers and perform at shows as often as 2-3 times a week D.O.G. returned to the studio to put together his first compilation entitled “Northwest Ridin.” This project, which was released in 2001 “Take it off” which got radio play in the United States, Canada, and Africa.

The attention “Take It Off” gained led to D.O.G. rocking shows across the United States and even touring internationally to the continents of Australia and Africa. After returning from these overseas show’s D.O.G. stepped back from the role of a solo artist in order to develop artists on his label “Bow Wow Records.” Four years passed and although he continued to appear on other artist’s projects his fans demanded that he return as a solo artist and take back his crown as the “King Of Washington.” The buzz around his return sparked the release of his single “Cold Blooded” and the release of his third album “Backstreets and Boulevards” in 2006. This album confirmed D.O.G. as a Northwest monument and led to a 30-city tour with underground legend Tech N9ne. Following the success of his tour D.O.G. released his first mixtape entitled “NW Classicz” which contained many underground anthems including the fan favorite “Aqua Man 3.”
After two years of touring and countless hours spent in the studio D.O.G. is back with the highly anticipated re-release of his classic “WET” album which will precede the release of the project his fans have been demanding; his brand new solo album “The Streets Of Tac.”

The Northwest will no longer be overlooked as the King of Washington Mr. D.O.G. has stepped out and is bringing the music industry back to the top of the west; The Great Northwest.
