Chicago, Illinois born and raised Earl “Duke” Williams Jr, has been in the lab working on his eagerly anticipated mixtape "Growing Pains" due for release sometime in September of 2011. Duke, who follows a Chicago-hustle work ethic of never giving up on your dreams, has already seen the benefits of this mind-set pay off. This hip-hop mixtape takes the listener on any rap lover’s fantasy of a voluptuous variety of subject matter, a healthy dose of catchy punch lines, lucrative lyrics, and production that doesn’t shy away from an assortment of instruments, reminding us all of what we love from our rap records. Duke’s gritty flow touches on subject matters from, relationships, to achieving your dreams, and a matter that is close to his heart, juggling both one’s studies and making it in the music industry.
