Mr. Hawkins, born and raised in Syracuse NY, College educated (Tuskegee University), and now living in Harlem World, New York City, is ready for action. An Emcee, Producer, and Entreprenuer, Mr. Hawkins is multi faceted and has used every talent and ability to accomplish his goals. Mr. H has always been a lover of hip hop and music. Starting in the middle school cafeteria lunch tables rappin with friends, through the hallways of high school cyphers so large they blocked the hallways and were deemed fire hazards, through the deep south of Alabama and that music scene and back to NYC, Mr. Hawkins has a plethora of life experience and expresses this on every track. Mr. Hawkins does not sound like anyone. His style is Real, Bar heavy, Relevant, & Soulful and His live show is unrivaled. In 2008 he met 3 talented musicians, Larry Love, Killa Keys, & Kev Billings during a live showcase where their band backed Mr. Hawkins and together they tore the roof off!! It was there they formed the group Mr. Hawkins & the Love Grind. Mr. Hawkins also accompanied by his 2 brothers, Prince Hottness The Cure & Shak C, and is backed by vocalist Ms. Tammi Faye. Once again, Real, Bar heavy, Soulful, Mr. Hawkins & The Love Grind Hip Hop Soul @ its Finest!!!
