Mr. LoveJones

As a band the Mr.LoveJones journey is only beginning. Forming in January 2005 the four members have made great strides working towards the goal of becoming a successful touring music act. What originally started as a mission taken on by Ramon Shane aimed at helping Tim & Shane un-ground an earlier music project titled “Suspicious Package” the cast including sit-in drummer Adam Black quickly realized they had stumbled on to something special and Mr.LoveJones was born.

With each member spending time with other bands the learning curve of the music business were narrowed. To gain an edge the band decided they wanted to take a more business approach in reaching their goals. They quickly formed their own entertainment company and brought in a team of passionate colleagues to manage the band. This allowed the four guys to focus on what brought them together; the music.

Chemistry, clicking, gelling, whatever you want to call it, the four guys had it or were doing it. Maybe it was their talents, unique skills, or past musical experience that helped fuel the creativity. Whatever the case, the group was able to capitalize and quickly write an array of new music to be featured on their first full-length album titled “Apology” The disc flaunts a number of promising tracks including “Bed of Thorns”, “My Dear”, The Perfect Man”, No Longer Addicted” along with the title track “Apology”.

Gained past experience taught Mr.LoveJones that if going to be “successful” more than just a fresh new studio album would be needed. Delivering the total package would become the goal. This included a supporting tour. “We want to give our audience that ‘wow’ effect” states bass and piano player Ramon Shane who’s skill set includes music & video production. “We want to leave them wanting more..” With the ever-charismatic Shane Wayne fronting the band pleasing the crowd should never pose a problem.

“Each of us has went through different things in the past that help us stay focused on our goals” says Tim, guitar player for Mr.LoveJones. “We each bring certain skills to the table” When I listen to our music I think to myself, wow this really is something special” Part of the overall equation is to “Stand on our own two feet”. “All the work and planning that goes on behind-the-scenes is just amazing to me”. “To pull this off is going to be quite an accomplishment” sighs Tim “The Mr.LoveJones bus is fired up and taking off and were all so excited to be along for the ride”.

So the journey begins. No one really knows just what lies on the road ahead for Mr.LoveJones. Success could mean a number of different things. With all the pieces put into place, odds are these guys with all their passion, experience and commitment will find satisfaction in doing what they love and that’s what its really all about anyway; the music. Just listen and you just may agree Mr.LoveJones certainly has something special. As Ramon once said to the guys “We could be writing history…”
