Bio

If artistic energy that is out of this world, it is in this alternate universe that you will find breakout artist Mr. Robotic. Mr. Robotic is truly dedicated to creating music that is more than a song, but an expression of art that resonates through your soul. Mr. Robotic is diligently and creatively mastering his craft, becoming a performer who prides himself on fun, creative music devoid of the typical profanity and lyrical content that characterizes urban music today. Creating his own genre of music- rap with a twist of pop and a dash of hip-hop has allowed him to appeal to a varied audience, Mr. Robotic is blazing a path that will be hard to follow.

As a music business student at Chicago’s Columbia College, Mr. Robotic learned the skills necessary to take his career to the next level. With the huge success of recent rappers Drake and Soulja Boy, guerilla marketing, internet media, social networking, and creative music licensing strategies have become the new platforms for national recognition. No stranger to non-traditional marketing, Mr. Robotic has taken the industry by storm.

Mr. Robotic’s first two studio projects, Back To The Lyrics and Home Alone garnered over 20,000 downloads. Industry heavyweight The Source hailed Back To The Lyrics as 'a solid entrée from an artist with tremendous potential.' He has been featured on hundreds of websites including Russell Simmons’ GlobalGrind, HipHopGame, HipHopDX, NahRight, AllHipHop, and DJBooth. On Myspace Mr. Robotic has amassed nearly 800,000 song plays and over 300,000 page views. Between Facebook, Twitter and Myspace Mr. Robotic has nearly 25,000 fans/friends

What gives Mr. Robotic the edge over his competition is his versatility as an artist. Alisha Davis of ASCAP says of Mr. Robotic, "Finally an artist who was built to break down those film and television barriers for urban music on Network TV and video games”. His music spans multiple genres and speaks to the music lover in everyone. According to HipHopDx, “His playful rhymes and his electronic, dance-ready beats are built for clubs, parties, raves, car trunks, and the like […]. That said, the kid makes enjoyable music”.

Mr. Robotic has had songs featured on The CW's The Beautiful Life, MTV (Jersey Shore, Taking the Stage,The Hills) ESPN, Stomp the yard 2 and the theme song for The E! special "Kiss and Tell: the other woman speaks" just to name a few. The creators of the coconut inspired sports drink "Greater Than" has even tapped Mr.Robotic to come up with the theme for their brand. He has had the honor of being featured as the Artist Of The Month on the #1 music licensing website MusicDealers.com, as well as ASCAP Playback Artist of the Week.

Mr. Robotic has worked with some of the music industry’s brightest rising stars, Chuck Inglish (Cool Kids), Christian Rich, and Cory Bold (produced for Letoya Luckett and Keri Hilson among others). Always listening to his music with the ear of a fan, Mr. Robotic strives to make the music people want to hear. His lyrical seduction has indeed impressed not only his fans, but the industry, which are all eyes and ears on what is next. John Williamson, Senior Vice President of MusicDealers says of Mr. Robotic, “"After 10+ years in the music game, witnessing and being part of every possible scenario, seeing a young guy with as much focus as Mr. Robotic is truly inspiring and makes me believe the new generation of artists still have hope”.
