With a sparkle in his eye and a groove in his move meet: Mr. Slick also known as Michael Joe Romero a Latino residing in Hollywood, CA. An exuberant lyricist and songwriter, with an enjoyable rhythm his music compels you with a desire to dance and sing along. Mr. Slick passion is to bring a fresh splendid sound into the hip hop scene. When you listen to his music you will have an enjoyable and exciting experience.
Michael passion for hip hop music began as a young boy. Listening to artists such as Tupac, 50 Cent, and Dr. Dre, he found his creativity in writing lyrics. In rapping his own lyrics he began to produce songs for digital downloading on social networks. He continues to thrive in creating his music. After graduating from high school he decided he wanted to pursue his career in music.
On March 20, 2010 he graduated with a Certificate of Completion from Music Institute (MI) in Hollywood, CA as an independent artist. He is dedicated to writing and producing new music for his upcoming album titled “Back To Love.” Working with 3 time Grammy Award Winner, producer/engineer: David Isaac to mix and master music. Currently in pre-production on music video for hit single “Rock Rock”.
