I’ve always loved to write poetry to express my thoughts and feelings since I was 11 years old. Back then I was very shy. Even my mom had no idea I had such talent. I kept it hidden while branching out and turning some of my poems into actual songs. After moving to Dallas in 2009, the main radio stations would always play a lot of local artists, right along with mainstream artists. It was highly motivating. I then started recording my own music. My first released track was called “D-Town”. Since then I continue to record, perform, and travel for projects.

I am determined to succeed with the talent I am blessed with. I believe if you have a talent it should be displayed. I enjoy making music. I admire learning and expanding my vocabulary to better express my thoughts. I record my music because my goal is to be a mainstream artist right along with Nicki Minaj, who I am a big fan of by the way. These days there’s one female MC artist mainstreamed at a time. Because our styles are absolutely different, I want to change that. There can and will be more than one main female MC artist.

Missy Elliot, Shawnna, and Nicki Minaj. Their styles are all very different, but they still are highly talented female artists. I’m also highly influenced by a lot of R&B artists like Lauren Hill, Beyoncé, Jazmine Sullivan, and K-Michelle.

My consistency is what’s going to blow people’s minds. I’m very passionate about my music, you can hear it through my delivery. I will be myself, say what I feel, say what I think. Mainly my bitter sweet character along with my own unique style will attract many.
