Bio

There has always been a shortage of female rappers with the total package. Which means that it is highly in demand. Image was never a problem finding but, respected talent and an overwhelming stage presence usually was the lacking department. Illinois, California, Atlanta and Detroit have bred such a woman. She has a head turning image, attention demanding stage presence, commercial/lyrical content, and an aura of confidence surrounding her and the ability to create hit songs. From hopscotching on the inner city streets of Detroit, to attending private schools in Los Angeles, CA to inhaling the intimate airs of Bloomington, IL Black S.O.C.S. Entertainment presents to you Ms. Creme A.K.A La Creme De La Creme!
On November 11, 1980 life gave us Sameerah Marrel, but with the bumps and bruises to come, lessons learned and time served, the streets gave us back Ms. Creme. Despite coming from a drug related broken home and forced into early adulthood, she started out as many have, making talent shows, friends and family her audience. After feeling that adrenaline rush of roaring crowds, it was inevitable that she was destined to be a female MC. " Faith without works is dead"! With this embedded in the mind and spirit of this young lady at age 18, she took her last four hundred dollars and a demo and moved to Atlanta, Ga. There she worked with hit producers T-Mix of Sauvehouse, and Mello of the ATL based group P.A., there she also auditioned for Ludacris's number one hit "What's Your Fantasy". Creme spent two years in Atlanta polishing her skills by working with local producers, thus allowing her name to become known on the music scene. In 2001 she signed her first two year independent Record Label deal with, How You Love that Records, releasing a compilation album and touring the Southeastern Region, she gain experience and exposure. Instead of staying, Creme returned to Detroit seasoned, marinated, hungered and dedicated, and ever stronger because of how tough it is for an artist to gain local fame. Gracing the pages of Vibe Magazine,(January 2006 issue), she walked through yet another door. While exposing herself to modeling (www.detroitessence.com) and acting. In summer 2006 she was sought after by a known producer Renaissance Man and after negotiations they began re-recording her album. After the two recorded their first song; Go Hard; and placed it on her myspace page, her views shot up from 1,000 in several months to over 7,000 in less than a month. Since then the idea of not making it in the music industry has been deleted from the possibilities of this young lady. She has since then completed the LP, the mix tape is in the manufacturing stage, and has created a buzz through open mic performances, hosing her own successful open mic, and the host and face of Detroit Rap TV, and countless show appearances. Creme's lyrical skill puts out the fire of desire of any Hip Hop fiend at the same time she is the American Sweetheart type, the Girl Next Door, and a shoulder to cry on, but most importantly, she is taking over the game.
