all of the elements a great entertainer should be. A perfect example of a true born entertainer.
Stage Name: MS Shugg Born in Louisville, Kentucky molded in the music industry at a very young age.
Began singing in a family oriented Baptist church at the age of 8. Became the Lead singer of a gospel quartet group and sang in the church choir. Have travelled various states singing R&B and gospel, cities such asChicago, St Louis, Nashville, and Memphis . Performed and auditioned for Apollo, American idol, and successfully won black expo in the year 2000.
Ms Shugg has developed her own unique style consist of eloquent vocals and harmonies over extraordinary sounds of Soul, Hip-hop, R&B, and rap.
Inspired by artist such as Mary J Blidge, Missy Elliott, Shirley Murdock, Patti Labelle, E40, Static Major and Digital Black. From A Singers Pen: I have over came many obstacles and challenges. I have allowed the challenges and obstacles to strengthen my faith and I am continuing to press toward being the person God wants and has already written for me to be.
