What we need is dancing. What we need is music. What we need is dancing not to simple flat melodies, but to beautifully fluctuating sounds of kick drum. What we need is dancing not to DJ music, however cool he may be, but to live tunes. What we need is variety, held together by one single style. What we need is moving all parts of our bodies, not only butt. What we need is vocal which, above all, serves as a guide in the universe of sound and does not press you with excess of philosophical ideas. What we need is kindness without moaning pacifism. What we need is laconic ethnical way. What we need is beautiful leaps. What we need is movement.
Before DUBSTEPLER appeared it seemed that musical inspirators of ragga jungle style condescendingly avoided Russia making it listen, but not play. Strange though it may appear, but musicians from Second Hand Band, Detskiy Panadoll, WK?, OdnoNo and KNR needed so many years to unite and establish the Europ-Asian ragga jungle project.
Mixing the rhythm of ragga jungle, gentleness of dub, boisterous agility of Balcan tunes, energetic recitative and miraculous video sequence DUBSTEPLER has already plunged Russian club life into its unique aura of fulfilling all musical wishes. During first part of 2009 they have sparked all clubs of Moscow and Saint-Pete, seen the sunrise at Stereoleto together with Röyksopp, had an unexpected gig in Georgia demonstrating internationality and tolerance.
