M. Stevens

Born on Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, (Humble) Texas, Marques Stevens aka M. Stevens has been traveling his entire life. Because of his mother’s obligation to the air force, he moved to England, then to Cleveland, Ohio. Introduced to the music world at an early age, he began composing personal jingles. Throughout elementary and high school, he competed in choirs, such as Junior Varsity and Varsity Choral. While attending Euclid Middle School, he gained an appreciation for the Hip-Hop culture. Although M. Stevens always held a humble attitude towards life, moving from house to house, city to city, he developed a hunger for success. Meeting up with his former high school classmate Christopher Williams, they started a production team called Hungry & Humble. Striving for more, he decided to work in partnership with Nicholas Kelly and Archie Smith to establish Hungry & Humble Entertainment. Already entrenched with a humble mentality that many fail to achieve, M. Stevens understood it was time to seal the holes in his life by devoting himself to his craft. He had to focus his attention on the positives in order to avoid going down an endless road of self-destruction. While searching for constructive outlets, M. Stevens came to the realization that music was not only his solace, it was his life. With an undeniable interest in performing, writing and production, Hip-Hop became more then a renowned aspect of M. Stevens’ lifestyle, it became his salvation.
