Patrice Jones, socially known as Ms. Trice was born in Nashville, TN. During her pre-teen years she took an interest in the lyrical arts and began her journey as a songwriter. With the majority of her writings leaning towards the rap genre, she was eventually drawn into reciting her lyrics publicly rather than in private. Some of her first listeners were schoolmates, peers in her neighborhood, and family members. The positive feedback and support that she had received fed into her growing passion for music and inspired her to continue writing. In junior high she began recording in a small indie recording studio as well as performing in local venues. At the age of 15 her skills as an artist were gradually being recognized by a larger crowd as she opened shows for other artist. Those artist being Eightball & MJG, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Scarface, Three 6 Mafia, Young Blood of No Limit Records and Mo Thug Family. One of her biggest performances of that time was being one of the opening acts on the No Limit Records “Blowing Up in Smoke Tour” which took place at the Nashville Arena. . Ms. Trice currently has one demo circulating to the mixtape, “We All Gone Eat” that will release in January of 2013. She has been performing her single “I’m Good” and “Side Effexs” at multiple venues in the southern region. With performing and having her videos uploaded to Youtube, shot by JapPhotography and Triumph Production, she has created a buzz that is growing daily. This buzz has caught the ears of independent internet radio personalities in areas such as Las Vegas and the Carolinas. She has interviewed with Underground Talk Radio hosted by Kat Daddy Marshall. He and Mic Wise, host of Beat Knockin Radio, located here in Nashville are both currently spinning the single “I’m Good”. This single was also featured on the Coast 2 Coast mixtape vol. 1, hosted by DJ Kasper Bhinks, out of Indiana. A small buzz has been accumulating in the countries of Ireland and Romania. The most current collaboration, was with an artist out of Irleand, named Ahren B. The single is titled “The Storm”. An adoring fan of Ms. Trice, currently residing in Romania, recently created and also manages her Tumblr fan page.
Ms. Trice started Big Appetite Entertainment in 2010. While pursing a career in the medical field, she decided to put that on hold, and pursue her dreams as an artist and songwriter. Her goal is to take Big Appetite Entertainment from a small indie lable to a huge empire. Ms. Trice is not only the C.E.O. of the label, but also an artist/songwriter. At the present moment, she is the only artist under the label.
