Muck

Muck was founded late September of 2007 and has since then easily defined themselves as one of the most exciting bands to watch in Iceland. With members who have been involved in the Icelandic extreme music scene for many years, they used their experience to form this juggernaut of a band. With descriptions such as "Indie kids playing black metal" and "Sonic Youth playing Converge tunes" it's plain to see that this band definitely doesn't do things the easy way. In a constant battle to evolve more and more they take the hardcore genre and transform it into something much more. Since their inception Muck has always been a prolific band. Recording the LP "Vultures" which got praise from the Icelandic music media aswell as their summer of 2009 EP. After the release of the 2009 EP Muck embarked on a short Europe tour to widen their fanbase and to introduce their guitar rock mayhem to the mainland. Now in 2011 Muck's second LP "Slaves" will see the light of day, the album will feature 13 songs that are guaranteed to change the way you feel about dark music.
