It was a year full of never-ending pop. Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus ruled the charts, but for a 16-year-old in Pittsburgh, that was all irrelevant. Mula could care less about the reigning pop princesses as he was more in tune with the innovations coming from the likes of a Kanye West with his 808s & Heartbreak, and Pharrell Williams. Mula was just a teen at the time, but he knew hip hop music was his calling and started to pursue it at that time.
Coming straight to listeners with a modern day delivery surrounded by colorful beats, Mula is one that can't be missed when the mic is in his hands. Performing at open mics throughout his hometown, as well as in West Virginia, Mula has pleased crowds time and time again with his refreshing lyrics and flow about the array of experiences he's lived through. From the death of a close friend in "Trouble" to his dedication to his craft in "All Day All Night," nothing in his life is off the table. Hence the honesty that escapes his lips when he steps on stage or in the studio. -
