The Mulch Brothers are one of the hottest and most talked about unsigned country music duos coming out of Nashville, TN today. Like the Doobie Brothers, the Righteous Brothers or the Ramones - Mark and Nick became "Mulch Brothers" back in 2006 when they met and became friends working in the music industry out of NYC. Recognizing the potential and unmistakable chemistry between their two styles and brands of music - Mark coming from his background of hard rock and Southern rock on the East Coast; Nick being the more traditional country music singer from Michigan - the boys quit their jobs, packed their bags and moved down to Nashville, TN to follow their dream of becoming the next big Country Duo.

Recognized throughout the industry for their high-energy "arena-rock" style shows and their tight, unique harmonies - the Mulch Brothers began to quickly make waves in industry after only a few months in Nashville. Within their first year of playing the Nashville club scene - they were sought out and joined on stage by Richie Sambora who jammed/sang along to their song "Knee Deep In It." The event made such a stir in Nashville that a few of the Television News stations covered the event and aired the video of the performance. This pretty much put the Mulch Brothers on the map in the country music scene in Nashville overnight. The Mulch Brothers soon hooked up with their current producer/co-writer Billy Falcon - one of the most accomplished songwriters in the industry having worked with and written songs for Bon Jovi, Trace Adkins and Stevie Nicks just to name a few.

For the next year they began to write and perform with some of the most accomplished songwriters and artists in the industry as they began to raise funds and develop material for their first EP. Some of these names include opening for Jon Bon Jovi & Richie Sambora, Big & Rich, Shenandoah, Kelly Keagy (Night Ranger), Keith Anderson, Gary Nichols, Pam Tillis and Jewel and writing with artists and songwriters like Dylan Altman, Billy Falcon, Rose Falcon, Mitch Malloy, Jeff Middleton of Warner Brothers Recording Artists - the Dirt Drifters, Isaac Rich (Jon Rich of Big and Rich's brothers), Jaida Dreyer, Vinny Van Zant (Trailer Choir – Show Dog Records).

The Mulch Brothers finished recording their first five songs for their EP “Dig It Y’All!” in April of 2008 and the reaction has been tremendous. Scott Lindy - Programming Director of Sirius Satellite Radio - picked up on the EP immediately and began playing the single "Love Run Wild" back in May of 2008 on their primary Country station - New Country Channel 60. The song has become a huge hit on Sirius and is still in regular rotation receiving upwards of 5 spins a day. The Mulch Brothers are the only unsigned artists receiving airplay on any of Sirius's Country music stations. This airplay resulted in immediate download sales on their website along with emails from fans all over the country and even outside of the US.
Without receiving any financial support and radio promotion assistance - the Mulch Brothers have been successful in getting airplay on terrestrial radio stations in four additional markets (Nashville, TN; Memphis, TN; Carthage, TN; and Kalamazoo, MI).

Following these successes - record labels all over town began to show interest and requested a Showcase to see the duo perform live. Most notably were Luke Lewis (President of Mercury Records), Rene Bell (VP of A&R for Sony/BMG Records), Mark Wright (President of Universal Records), Doug Howard (President of Lyric Street Records) and hit producers James Stroud and Ted Hewitt.

This past summer The Mulch Brothers were given the honor of being invited to the CMA Music Festival as featured artists for Sprint and Gibson Guitars at the Convention Center where they signed autographs and took pictures with fans from all over the World. They were also invited to play two separate nights at the Wild Horse Saloon during the 2008 CMA Music Festival (this is the largest venue for country artists in Nashville outside of the Arena and the football stadium). The CMA Fest brings in well over 100,000 Country music fans into Nashville and is without a doubt the best exposure a new country act can get.
