Based out of Nova Scotia's beautiful Annapolis Valley, Jesse Kemp, a.k.a. DJ Mulligan, has been pumping up dance floors from behind the decks for over six years. Mulligan�s skills, enthusiasm and fresh upbeat style has quickly earned him respect throughout the Maritimes.
Mulligan's choice of music ranges from funky house and popular remixes, to jammin 2-Step and slammin Speed Garage. His taste in music has been influenced by well known DJ's such as Mark Farina, Artful Dodger, Basement Jaxx and more importantly local DJ's like Sound Syster, Steve The Viking, Mizz Maxine, Sonny D, Funkdub and Dale Mannette. Mulligan's music reflects his easy going, fun personality and with his style and flair he never fails to captivate his audience.
Getting his start in Fredericton, NB co-hosting Open Decks at McPhails Taproom, he was quickly picked up by the forward thinking Ultrasound Collective Production Company. Mulligan has held monthly residencies at local night clubs such as Moncton's Paramount Lounge and Fredericton's Afterdark Night Club. Now back in the valley, he is taking on Nova Scotia by storm.
In only six years Jesse has played well over 250 shows throughout the Maritimes and rocked out alongside DJ's such as: The Freestylers (UK), The Sound Republic (Chicago),Bons (Boston), Myagi and Phat Conductor (Toronto) Spence (Vancouver) and some of the Maritimes best DJ's including: Dale Mannette (Halifax),Tommy Knuckles (Halifax), Sonny D (Halifax), Iris (PEI), Relik (St. John), Cyn L (Moncton), Marc Leblanc (Toronto), Magic Friend (Nova Scotia), Nexus6ix (St. John), Soundsyster, Steve The Viking, Sir K, Sean, Sean, Flynn, Loki and more...
Currently, Mulligan maintains an affiliation in every major city in New Brunswick; Ultrasound Productions in Fredericton, Broken Coast and Sound Scape in Moncton and Port City Productions in Saint John and his newest addition BigCityNights of Halifax Fame. Always looking into networking and bringing his music to a variety of crowds, Jesse continuously surprises us with new and original DJ mixes.
