What do you get when you combine 7 talented musicians with different writing styles and influences? In this case, you get Mumbai Standstill. Their passion and drive is clear immediately in seeing them play. With 2 acoustics, bass, banjo, drums, trumpet/keyboard and 5 guys who can sing, you get a cool cross between The Lumineers, Imagine Dragons and Sublime. Their songwriting skills are clearly honed; song after song is exciting with well-written hooks and interesting parts. With no backing tracks, they take pride in their full, organic sound.
