Mumble Riot estrenó en medios digitales Killah, la punta de lanza de su próximo material, Shame of Man, un EP (o disco corto) que verá la luz a finales de marzo.
En la canción, la banda costarricense, cuyo sonido se nutre de la esencia del rock y blues, muestra un avance en su propuesta de rock alternativo, con una composición ambiciosa y poco predecible, enérgica por donde se mire.
Según lee un comunicado de prensa, el tema “es un relato de una asesina en serie y su inevitable necesidad y satisfacción al realizar sus actos”.
El videoclip de Killah será presentado el jueves 29 de enero en un concierto en el bar josefino El Steinvorth, en el que también tocarán los grupos Timber of Trees y Solitude. La entrada costará ¢2.000.
El nuevo disco corto será el sucesor de ...About Life and Other Complications, el álbum debut de Mumble Riot, editado a mediados del 2012 por Autómata Records.
En este caso, las canciones fueron producidas por la agrupación y grabadas en el estudio de Marcos Monnerat. El sencillo se puede escuchar en Internet en el portal Bandcamp y pronto estará disponible en iTunes y Spotify. - La Nacion

About Mumble Riot..
Mumble Riot is an electrifying rock n roll quartet with a mix of musical influences that vary from classic rock, blues, grunge, punk, and even folk. Their energetic live show is very characteristic of them, where their songs are charged with potent and catchy guitar riffs that will make anyone bust a move or two. The band has been playing together for 6 years and released their debut album (...about life and other complications) in mid 2012.
The name Mumble Riot was born from the notion that the voice of the vast majority of people on this Earth is never heard. They are just a mumble amongst a sea of millions of cries. For an individual to have an actual and significant impact in his or her community he/she must carve out a special place for themselves‌ They don't have a special place, but now they have a voice to be heard. Their songs are their mumbles, their cries, their emotions. This is their Mumble Riot to the world.
All members of Mumble Riot were born and currently live in the beautiful country of Costa Rica.
Message/note: There is something admirable about an individual who refuses to accept what society defines as a successful life. There is respect for a person that decides to define his or her own happiness and triumphs. Living a rewarding existence is as simple as believing that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
