OK, so you’re a big Curtis
Mayfield fan, but where do you
go to get your CM fix now that the
man is gone? You head over to
Mumbstoned Music, right here in
the ATL, because they have that
diamond in the back/sunroof top/
diggin’ the scene with a gangsta
lean groove you’ve been missin’!
There are a lot of artists in the
“A,” but what separates these
cats from the others is they walk
the walk. They have that true
1970’s gangsta, pimp sound
that everyone else is TRYING to
capture. Yeah, they talk about
hoes, Caddy’s and stuff, but
when they say it, it reminds you
of a Superfly movie, not some ’06
wanna be gangsta/rapstar. So,
when I’m feeling gangsta (LOL) I
put on a little Mumbstoned music
and yell out, “Bitch betta have
my MONEY”!

Mumbz has been producing for over ten years and currently owns and runs the day to day operations of MumbstonedMusic. Located in the atlanta G.A. area Mumbz and B-retna have teamed up with LiL-A from Macon G.A. from the group Southern Misfits.
