We are a Three Piece All original face tearing Exploding!Punkish Rock Band that Unleashes Music that has more Twists and Turns Than a Pole Dancing Hooker reading an Autopsy report in one hand and a poetry book in the other while she is experiencing an Orgasim,covered in Blood in a smoke filled Bar.
Our original collaborations are inspired by a mammoth list of influences from a broad spectrum of artists from all around the world and we have thereby created a musical melting pot. So a collaborative array of musical moods to satisfy the armies of music fans has being created to be Unleashed into the public arena. The music & energy exerted from Murder at Mercy is fresh New Sound We have taken off any personal reigns and we have no restrictions on our song writing skills, we are determined not to be labeled or characterised as one (Genre) Murder At Mercy have arrived to feed you, Bleed you and Entertain you.
Our story is we hail from Queensland, Australia from The City of Gladstone region.
The band was formed by Jackson Nicholson (Vocals and guitar) I started playing local gigs with a friend who played drums we didn’t even have a bass player at that time, but we got by! then we had a friend join in on bass for a couple of gigs until he and the drummer decided to take a different paths’ they wanted real jobs and to finish there schooling. myself all I wanted and lived for was playing music so I have kept at it and yes the band has had a few changing faces eg: tom Impy who used to play guitar for us excellent guitarist and we also used a session bass player but like most bands when your starting out you gotta go through all the sorting out to find what you really want to do in the world of music, but when you love music as much as I do you gotta keep on until you find the right mix of musicians that click musically and mentally and are hungry like yourself to play music together especially your own original music, Right Now we want to show the country and the world what we have to offer musically we also want money & Groupies ayah! No seriously it also helps that all three Band members are of a similar age and we are all from the same region Westy our bass player from Boyne Island. Jake our Drummer and I are from Agnes Water/1770.
Murder At Mercy we are ambitious, and we love our music, and we want to share it with anyone who cares to listen.
