I'll Never Sing Another Song

Written By: Muriel Anderson

I’ll Never Sing Another Song
Muriel Anderson

I’ll never sing another song
I’ll never play another tune
I’ll never watch the bright sun go down
Without thinking of you

I’ll never frolic in the rain
I’ll never love like this again
But did you even know that you’re on my mind
All of the time, leaving me
Down, down, down, leaving me down

If heaven above knew how deeply I love
It surely would send angels to catch my tears
So many appear when the bright sun goes
Down, down, down, leaving me down

(repeat cho)
I’ll never sing another song

Castles In the Sand

Written By: Muriel Anderson

Castles In the Sand
By Muriel Anderson

For all of our toil, all of our plans
Castles are built in the sand
And after the storm, after the waves
Together we’ll build it again

It’s not for the castle, not for the sand
Not for the view from sea to land
It’s for a smile that you can bring
It’s just to build a beautiful thing

***
The hurricane came just in a day
The life that we knew washed away
I watched as my hopes disappeared in the sand
Until I saw one outstretched hand

It’s not for the castle, not for the sand
Not for the view from sea to land
It’s for the people, the care you can bring
It’s just to build a beautiful thing

***
As much as I’ve mourned possessions that passed
Castles may not always last
Built for the process, not for forever
Built for the love we’re building together

It’s not for the castle, not for the sand
Not for the view from sea to land
It’s for the people, the care you can bring
To live is to build a beautiful thing

Wildcat

Written By: Muriel Anderson

Just when I thought I was all alone
Taking a moment for my own
Something told me in the rocky terrain
I was no longer at the top of the food chain
I had a little spat with a wildcat

You may think I must be crazy
Taking a little safari of my own
I guess I'm just the kind of lady
Feeling life down to the bone
Without a map, yeah wildcat
Ay, ay, ay...
Imagine that, a wildcat

And I found the bones to prove
That that cat don't always lose
And you'd think by now I knew (so well)
A little adventure can have its dues
When you have a little spat with a wildcat

Well I might as well, you know it's awfully swell
To get a little off track, put that wind at your back
And I got a little off track from that wildcat
Ay, ay, ay... I got a little off track
From that wildcat

Well I might as well, you know it's awfully swell
To get a little off track,
put that wind at your back
And I got a little off track
I might be lunch, imagine that
Well I got a little off track from that wildcat
