Toronto based Muscle Souls have dug deep into Mod Invasion, Northern Soul, Power Pop and their love of 1960’s TV Show themes for their new self released EP “Mark On the World.” Produced by Damon de Szegheo (Serena Ryder), the disc includes five original songs served up two ways! Band versions charge out of the gate with horns blazing for the full Muscle Souls experience, while acoustic versions highlight their elegant two part harmonies and strings. Either way, Muscle Souls can balance the “tough” and the “sweet”.
2013/14 included over 50
shows in and around the Toronto area including Canadian Music Week and
an invitation to play at Le Petit Festival de Puyloubier in France. In
support of this new release, Muscle Souls are booking shows all over
Ontario and beyond in the coming year. Upcoming shows include their 3rd
appearance at the International Pop Overthrow (IPO) in Toronto, November
2014.
