Vienna

We are Vienna out of Jacksonville, Illinois. We formed in 2009 and immediately formed a close friendship. We have an intense desire to make music that shows emotion. We don't make it simply to say we can. We express ourselves in it, and we hope that because we use this method, people can relate to our songs. Brock Gwaltney is our lead pianist and guitarist, and also sings lead vocal. He has a wide range of styles partly due to classical influences. His main influences are the Beatles and the Fray. CJ Beckwith plays drums and has really formulated an all-around steady playing style. He is influenced by Jet, the Fray, and Park. Kyle Cummings, bass and vocal, has gained an unceasing admiration for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Victor Wooten, although he too must include the Fray as an influence. Naturally, the band has a diverse sound, and with Brock playing both piano and guitar alternatively, all the songs have very distinct differences. We thoroughly appreciate any form of music; we hope this is reflected in our songs. We hope to share our ideas with the world and set ourselves apart from the rest.
