"Review 1"

Muskrat Lightning sounds like a night in Ocean City. Tuneful, harmonious, insightful lyrics. Easy to listen to after a day at the beach or a day in the office, the effect is the same. Takes you to a place and time and that's what the best music should do. - Brenda Carl, News Director, WCBM Radio AM 680

"Review 2"

When Muskrat Lightning plays we can count on top-notch music, an amazing production team, and a full bar! - Bill Todd, Booking Agent for Burley oak Brewing Company

"Review 3"

What Muskrat Lightning is pitching to its so-called musical customers is providing show after show that has a great deal of market value, and "customer appreciation," instantly reminding you of a time when musicians cared about the music they created, more than just becoming famous. - Bryan Russo, Maryland Coast Dispatch

Mid South DEMO December 2017

Muskrat Lightning is a jamband based in the resort town of Ocean City, Maryland and was formed with the best musicians in the area. Otto Grundman is a guitar wizard who cut his teeth in Galaxy Collective. As a young band, they made waves and garnered regional support due to his guitar abilities. Skip Maisel, Sonny Martin, and John Sybert were in the national jamband, G-13, which toured the country for fifteen years. G-13 has been lucky enough to be asked to play multiple after parties in New York City, when the bands of members of the Grateful Dead perform there. Some of the venues include BB Kings, The Knitting Factory, The Cutting Room, and  Tobacco Road as well as others. G-13 is a veteran band which has made many appearances at festivals like Smilefest, Jerry Garcia’s Birthday Bash and the Washington DC “smoke- ins.” Nick French is an amazing piano player who is in demand for his tasteful style. His band Royal Jelly has a more progressive approach to jam. With Muskrat Lightning the tradition of a premier, original jamband continues. Muskrat Lightning continually packs the house and along with the light show “Jonesing For Lights,” they deliver their Beach Jam style originals and favorites of the American song lexicon. The state-of-the-art light show, performed by Richard Jones adds an element that makes each show special.Muskrat Lightning believes in creating a space where the artist and the audience experience the same feelings.
