Musos, a Lehigh Valley-based rock band, led by Philip Fritchey, center, lead singer-lead guitar, at microphone played at a house party during the Community Block Party, held July 19 on Market Street, which was closed for the event between Center and New Streets, Bethlehem. The band derives its name from the word muso, said to be a person obsessed with music. - Bethlehem Press

BANDWIDTH DAILY: Musos is on the rise! How did you get into music? Musos: Like so many others before us, we were influenced by the success of the Beatles.

BANDWIDTH DAILY: The music biz is a rollercoaster, what are some of your proudest moments? Musos: Continuing to record new tunes, our music has been ever evolving. Also we just recently played a showcase where we had the stage to ourselves for the entire night and the response was very positive.

BANDWIDTH DAILY: Building and keeping momentum is key to success, what new music or events are on the way? Musos: At this point were focused on our musical content, continuing to write new music and evolve. Presently we’re finishing up on what we feel is our best material to date, a new LP called “Laughing At You”. - BANDWIDTH DAILY

Musos channel the lost pop songs from an alternate universe. As a live unit, the four piece plays with a ferocity evocative of the early Who. Their original songs are well-crafted, imaginative, and lyrically rich. They also know how to have a laugh with their audiences and the between song banter at a live performance is really entertaining.

Musos are Phil Fritchey (guitar, vocals), Mike McCallum (guitar, vocals), Joe Paslawski (bass, vocals), and Jeff Stein (drums).

In 2015, the band self recorded the (Lp) Midnight Movies and the (Ep) Atomic. In 2016 We recorded the (Lp) Romans as well as an new yet to be titled (Ep) just finished. Musos hope to have all our music available for purchase online in the very near future.
