Chicago anime senseis Sage Shintendo, Vagabond Maurice, and Kariu, The Gameboy have been churning out music at an alarming rate. We spoke a bit on Maurice's The Dragon That Devoured the Moon (awesome album title) earlier this year. On top of that, Shintendo released a beat tape as well as an album in the last couple months. Muten Blvck is a handful of Chicago artists escaping the Windy City through weed smoke and cartoons, video games and karate chops. Where villains lurk around every corner and magic is always a means to defeat the enemy.
