Muzi Beats launched themselves into the club scene by hitting the ground running in 2003 when they quickly locked in residencies in Townsville, Cairns, Airle Beach, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Over the last seven years the group has been fusing the sounds of the big room and creating a loyal following from party goers from North Queensland to the Gold Coast.
The group has evolved over the years and is ready to take on the charts with their exciting original commercial house tracks. Muzi Beats are currently working on a 5 track EP with the first single ‘Stringing Me Along’. This track will soon be backed up by 'Boogie' and 'Sex all over the World'.
Members: 'Brooksy' - Vocals/Sax/Dance Moves Brooksy is not your typical muso. His stage presence, attitude and vibe is stand out. Once you see him perform, you will never forget him. He draws the crowd to the floor. At this point in time, he still frequents the best clubs in Brisbane and the Gold Coast and is well known for his creative flair both on his Sax and Vocally.
'JADE O' – THE DECKS Jadeo (pronounced Jade O) is a DJ who has been dominant in helping to push the dance music scene in South East QLD and Northern NSW. Jadeo has worked rooms all over Europe and Australia and is in finer form than ever on these new tracks. Over the past 10 years he has played at numerous venues both locally and internationally including – Fabric (UK), Camden Palace (UK), Brixton Academy (UK), Hollywood Road (UK), DCM (Syd), Greenwood Hotel (Syd), QBH (Melb), Chocolate Bar (Melb), Fringe Bar (Bris), GPO (Bris), Exchange Hotel (Bris) and ‘many others’.
'Chief' – GUITAR Ruwan who is known by his mates as, 'Chief' Has played around the Gold Coast and Brisbane in numerous musical outfits. He specialises in rock and funk guitar and also owns and runs a recording studio that is busy. He loves to keep his licks tasty.
