My Dim Eyes

Tom, Gord and Adam of MY DIM EYES began playing together back in 2002, composing numerous tracks and developing a unique sound. Meanwhile Chris and Gord, were jamming on the side with another vocalist, experimenting with a sound that never quite evolved. In 2005, a chance encounter between the two bands at a rehersal space merged the group. Chris had impressed the members with his guitar playing and began learning a few songs. Being a writter, Chris pushed to get his ideas heard by the guys and experiment with a new style, a heavier sound. All that was missing was a singer. The previous vocalist didn't suit the vibe of the group so Chris talked to a friend of his who recomended Spotty. They tested him out, and despite being an amazing vocalist, the band was still missing something. It wasn't until Spotty began writting his own lyrics for the band that My Dim Eyes saw the light.
