My Friend Jeff

MY FRIEND JEFF is the music project of Jeff Hallam. He is a howling “moody boy” from Portland Oregon living in Paris, France that croons stamped-on-your-brain melodies. His music is a collection of melodic, atmospheric songs harkening a Neil Young meets Pink Floyd brew. Other self-confessed influences are Burt Bacharach, Chet Baker and Elliott Smith.

MY FRIEND JEFF est le projet musical de Jeff Hallam, un vrai gars de Portland dans l’Oregon qui hurle son spleen sous les étoiles. Il charme son monde dans un subtil mélange de chansons entêtantes, mélodiques ou atmosphériques comme le ferait le fils caché de Neil Young et de Pink Floyd. D’autres références assumées se situeraient également du côté de Burt Bacharach, Chet Baker et Elliott Smith.
