My Friends in Vegas

My Friends in Vegas are a 5 piece band from Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The band is influenced by all different areas of popular, and non popular music & we place ourselves in the Progressive Pop genre. The name 'My Friends in Vegas' we feel is a unique and memorable name for our band. Creating the 'My Friends In Vegas' 5 Track EP Due to all members of the band having knowledge and involvement in the local music scene and from past experiences the band decided to create a finished 5 track EP before launching their first gig. All the members have either studied Music or are currently studying Music Performance / Technology at Barnsley College/ Leeds College of Music. Due to the skills acquired the band have independently written, recorded, mixed, and produced all the original tracks on the EP. My Friends In Vegas EP launch In a 6 month time scale “My Friends in Vegas” have written, and produced the 5 track EP. Practiced performance sessions in a local studio prior to the EP launch. The Lucorum in Barnsley was the venue for the EP launch on the19thJune. “My Friends In Vegas” successfully organised the event, that included 3 other support bands. Promoting pre ticket sales and generating a huge interest on the launch night. Also selling additional merchandise that included T Shirts and EP’s.
