"The project is driven by Joseph Blaise's piano and smooth voice and is supported by a cast of musicians who master the art of simplicity."
"...capable of moving and relaxing audiences at once."
- Paolo De Gregorio, The Deli Magazine.com
"Not your usual songwriting, not your usual lineup--Joseph Blaise and his band will soon be locked up in the Ann Coulter Memorial Reeducation Camp for Unusually Smart and Perceptive Musicians...so see them now and hear them now before The Great Darkness envelopes everything."
- Charles M. Young, Rolling Stone contributing editor
"Composed and formatted on a three-inch compact disc, “Strange World” packs more punch than its small size would have you believe. This New York City based singer/songwriter writes music that is adult pop-rock with tremendous string arrangements and great melodic vocals. I like that he allows his songs to be littered with odd tinkering sounds of odd bleeps and bleats, all of which uniquely juxtapose the more traditional sounds of adult alternative. His lyrics are addictive and laden with pop hooks. I love the piano parts, which give it a sense that you’re walking through Central Park on the first day of summer encountering the wonderfully unique personalities that wander through the park."

Bio
Not just another Brooklyn band with an impossibly cool name, co-writing partners in crime, Joseph Blaise, Ambyr DAmato and Paul Vazquez are coming together and breaking through the noise with a sunny new brand of electro pop/rock you will not soon forget.
The band has tapped into a catchy, upbeat sound that fuses together their collective histories of (serious) classical music, classic rock 'n' roll, and chamber-style pop with modern pianos, big guitars and an electronic beat-driven twist.
Fully embracing the DIY spirit, writing and recording at every available moment, My Glorious Mess has a host of new recorded releases planned for 2011. As they do so, their knack for launching their songs into the collective pleasure center of their fans continues to grow.
