With influences ranging from Everytime I die and Killswitch Engage, to bands like Hopesfall and Glassjaw, My hero is me brings a new type of metal-core by mixing melodic parts with brutal breakdowns.
My hero is me is able to win over crowds, not just with music but by invovling the crowd, having sing alongs in many songs as well as random covers that they add in such as the Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire theme song.
My hero is me is also an exciting band to just watch, their live show is very energetic and full of interaction with each other as well as the crowd.
Being a band of 3 years now.
Their goal is bringing fun to the hardcore scene, and breaking all the trends of blood and tears and roses by entertaining people with silly stage antics and bringing a positive feel to the stage and their music.
My hero is me has toured the Northeast 6 times as well as played in various other states, ready to hit the road and make new fans, this bands number 1 priority is playing shows and making fans.
