Bio
Myles Malice and the Mad Scientist started as an unlikely pairing. Malice began his music career as a full-fledged rap artist. With primary influences being Tech N9ne, Brother Lynch Hung and has a hint of punk from The Misfits, he developed a very dark and percussive rap style. The Mad Scientist came from a much different background. Growing up listening to the big hair of the 80s, and being primarily a guitar player, with modern influences like Dream Theater and August Burns Red, he has a fast, heavy and technical writing style. Both artists began collaborating on solo projects, and halfway through the Meet Malice ep (Myles Malice), they began writing and producing together. While the Meet Malice album does contain material written by the Mad Scientist, all guitar parts were withheld from the recording and will be used strictly for live shows. Work on the next project has begun and will contain a drastic style change. All musical production has been taken over by the Mad Scientist and is very guitar driven, while maintaining the important foundations of the urban music scene. Club music has made it into the metal scene; its about time metal makes its way into the rap scene. The combination of styles and Malices purely conceptual lyrical style makes for a deep and heavy experience.
