MMK have been working hard on their new modern sound, fusing all of their diverse influences into one spherical mass of music. With influences ranging from The Kinks, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Eagles, Thin Lizzy, The Jam, Paul Weller, Guns n Roses, even Garth Brooks...right up to bands like The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, HIM, CKY, YouMeAtSix and many more, MMK have a unique sound which you'd be very hard pressed to find anywhere else.
After growing up together from a young age in West London, Rick, Jack and Danny are more like brothers than friends and this shows in their welcoming yet energetic live shows. The music reflects every emotion possible, whether it be the feeling of being in love or the wish to change society, or the feeling of being secluded in both love and society...there is enough attitude and youthfulness to entertain a stadium full of people whilst still managing to maintain a personal, intimate atmosphere.
My Mate Kate are here to make a stand and have fun doing it...and make a stand they will.
