Minneapolis-based rock band My Present Leave cuts no corners to provide its fans with the best musical experience possible. In just a short time (May 2007-PRESENT), band members RT Maldaner, Sam Cook, Jeremy Smith, and Matt Call have come together with a central passion for 2 things: people and music. "That's what truly sets us apart from other bands in this crazy industry," Smith states, "we try to write about all people, meet new fans constantly, learn about them, and finally, if it works out, truly become a positive part of their lives."
It has become almost time-honored to see members of My Present Leave in actual conversations with guests after shows. Whether fans come with struggles or with joys, MPL thrives on the interaction and believes the music can change lives.
With a range of influences that include Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Switchfoot, and U2, My Present Leave's great chemistry allows them to make marks of their own.
