Bio

There is a place which is unique to each of us, although at times not easy to find. It is our canvas and our prison, and of our own design. Everyone has their own “quiet earth”, and in the case of this band, it is a place of strong convictions and honest emotion.

My Quiet Earth is a five-piece alternative synth-rock band which was created with purpose, to explore new ideas and create music with a message. Founded in early 2006, MQE have been hard at work crafting their unique flavor of strongly themed pop music, a sound which was unveiled nationally on April 15, 2006 on the highly-rated television morning show, “Good Morning Canada”. Since then, the band has built a promising fan base in Edmonton and will take their show across western Canada before the end of 2008.

“Only in quiet waters do things mirror themselves undistorted. Only in a quiet mind is adequate perception of the world.”
